A game in your QR menu
While they wait for their food, customers play to find your business's hidden mascot. Top scores go on a leaderboard and the leader of the week wins the prize you choose. The wait feels shorter and there's a reason to come back.
How the game works
Each menu has its own chef and mascot: a cat, a coquí, a dachshund, a panda or a sato. The customer taps PLAY, moves the chef, collects food and looks for the mascot before time runs out.
Some styles add extra games, like a platformer, an action game, live dominoes with other customers or a short weekly story for beauty salons.
Why it helps you sell
- The wait feels short and customers don't leave the line.
- The weekly prize (a soda, a dessert) gives a reason to come back.
- Kids play while parents eat in peace.
- Your brand stays on the customer's phone like an app.
The game doesn't get in the way
The menu comes first and the game is optional. The music has an off button and the game screen is see-through so the menu stays visible.
Questions
What is a QR menu with a game?
It is your menu on the customer's phone: they scan a QR code on the table or the truck, see your dishes with photos and prices, order on WhatsApp and, while they wait, play a game to find your restaurant's mascot.
Does the customer need to download an app?
No. The menu opens in the browser when they scan the QR. If they want, they can save it to their home screen with your logo, like an app.
Is the menu in English too?
Yes. If the customer's phone is in English, the menu shows in English automatically. Puerto Rican dish names like mofongo or alcapurria stay the same.
